Central IL has many sundown towns. Most of these are confirmed. Some are drawing white flight from Peoria, Champaign/Urbana, Decatur, etc.
Shortly after WWII, a realtor suggested that all of the San Francisco Peninsula except the city itself should be sundown towns, off limits to Asian and African Americans.
