email 11/2007:

Worden, IL has a population less than 1000 people. It is a real small German community. Most of their youth leave the town and relocate to St. Louis or Springfield. My wife was told as a child that her town was a sun down town (that Black people had to be out of town by 6 PM) by her parents who are now deceased.
