Twin Falls Idaho is now a primary refugee center for Bosnian and Somalian refugees. The town population is mixed with a fair percentage of Mexican residents.

In the late 1890s and early 1900s, many communities in Idaho expelled their Chinese populations. In 1904, a Chinese man who entered Twin Falls was immediately escorted out of town.
