If Orange County ever excluded Jews, that was long over by 1970. I went to school with a ton of Jewish kids in the Huntington Beach/Westminster Area. Probably a higher Jewish population than anywhere I’ve been since.

In 1963, Orange County voted overwhelmingly for Proposition 14, a constitutional ammendment which sought to overturn the state’s Fair Housing Act, which conservatives termed the “Forced Housing Act”.
In 1979, Orange County voted more that 3 to 1 for a constitutional ammendment against busing.
