Comments
“My white step father was born in Minden, Nebraska
(born probably in 1909 or so and left town early in
the 1930s) which was a ‘sundown town’ by practice.
Blacks were only allowed to eat at the back door of
eating establishments and not under any
circumstances to remain in the town overnight.”
