A former resident reported that, while he was growing up, his parents told him that Hatboro was sundown. He also heard that there was a family who attempted to move in during the 1950s but was driven out in the nighttime.
An email from a former resident: “This is definitely not a sundown town. I used to live here & it was near a military base so many different people live here. We had blacks, Jews, hispanic people living in our apartment complex.”
