Comments
Greenview was a center for Knights of the Golden Circle during the War and the racial tensions never really eased up. The one response I got was from a former teacher at Greenview High School (she’s nearly 80 now) who told me that she knows there was Klan activity around Greenview until, at least, the early 1950’s.
