Comments
A visitor to Nevada writes,
%u2018I understand some towns in Nevada required Native American people to be outside the town limits by sundown. Ely, Nevada was one. About 3 years ago when I was there a woman said her grandmother told her that Indian people had to be out of Ely by sundown. The nearest reservation is the Duckwater Shoshone reservation that today is about a 45-minute drive.%u201D
