According to a source from Wittenberg University, OH, during the 1960’s, there was a big uproar in Brookfield, IL, when a family sold a house to a black family. It turned out, however, that there already was a black family in the town, and at a meeting called to protest this new family, a white man stood up and said his neighbor already was black. The meeting broke up in confusion.
