Comments
A student in Bethany reported their teacher(s) using racial slurts. (Taken in 2005 from a student during the 1950s)
Having grown up in Bethany, I had often heard many of the locals mention Bethany being a ‘no Negro town’. I don’t remember the name of the persons who mentioned this, but I believe it was in 1956. (According to a local resident in 2005)
